“Reuse Reduce Recycle” Pacific Cross Indonesia

Taking Action for the Environment Through Plogging

As part of its CSR program themed “Reuse, Reduce, Recycle,” Pacific Cross Indonesia conducted a plogging activity around the office area during Car Free Day. This initiative supports the Go Green campaign by encouraging waste collection and proper sorting into plastic, paper, and organic categories, while also reducing plastic use through the habit of bringing reusable tumblers during outdoor activities.

Plogging (Picking Up Litter and Jogging) combines jogging or running with collecting litter along the route. In addition to promoting personal health, it fosters environmental awareness and inspires communities to keep public spaces clean, starting from ourselves.

The plogging activity started at 8:15 a.m. and lasted for approximately one hour, involving Pacific Cross Indonesia employees equipped with plogging kits consisting of trash bags, litter pickers, and gloves. While covering the area around Sudirman–Chase Plaza, participants actively collected and sorted waste by type to support recycling efforts. The activity also served as a moment of togetherness, fostering environmental awareness and reinforcing the company’s commitment to a sustainable workplace culture.
